Quality Assurance and Improvement

The Center for Disability Services and Prospect Center are committed to quality assurance and improvement. We strive to better the organization in order to improve the quality of the lives of the people we support. Through proactive and responsive quality improvement systems, our best practices become a part of everyday practices throughout the agency. We seek to attain a standard of excellence by which other providers measure service delivery.

Learning About Incidents and Investigations

The Center is constantly examining and improving the quality of the programs and services provided to the individuals it supports. Part of this process involves following the OPWDD framework for incident reporting, investigation, and, when necessary, corrective action that help improve safety and experiences. OPWDD has developed, in collaboration with the Justice Center for the Protection of People With Special Needs, information to help individuals and their parents and/or guardians better understand the incident reporting and investigation processes.
